The 2018 Annual Meeting of the Sub-Technical Committee for Standardization of Lifting Metallurgy and Canned Motor

 

The Standard Review Conference was solemnly held in Kunming

 

The 2018 Annual Meeting and Standard Review Meeting of the Standardization Sub-Technical Committee of Lifting Metallurgy and Canned Motor (hereinafter referred to as "Subcommittee") was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, from November 27 to 29, 2018. The conference was attended by 43 delegates from 38 units including crane metallurgy and shielded motor manufacturers, users, motor parts factories and research institutes. Director Xu Yuanfeng of China Electrical Appliance Industry Association and Professor Xu Yongming of Harbin University of Technology were invited to attend the meeting.

 

The meeting was chaired by Wang Liping, Director of Industry Information Office of Jiamusi Explosion-proof Electrical Machinery Research Institute and Secretary-General of Subcommittee. Wang Weiyue, Director of Jiamusi Explosion-proof Electrical Machinery Research Institute and Vice-Chairman of Bid Subcommittee, delivered a welcome speech.

 

Director Xu Yuanfeng, the leader of China Electrical Appliance Industry Association, first introduced the newly revised Standardization Law in the form of PPT to the participants vividly from several perspectives, such as wide scope, high requirements and open integration. Then Director Xu gave guidance and suggestions on the work of standardization in the new period, focusing on five aspects: policy reform, institutional reform, standard system reform, international standardization and key work proposals. Entrusted by the National Standardization Management Committee, the paper read out the proposal for the replacement of the bid committee and the composition of its fifth session, and congratulated the establishment of the new sub-bid committee. The fifth sub-tender Committee has 41 members, Wang Xiaowen is the chairman, Wang Weiyue, Xu Min and Wang Weiping are the vice-chairmen, Wang Liping is the member and secretary-general, and the Secretariat is located in Jiamusi Institute of Explosion-proof Electrical Machinery. Members are from universities, research institutes, use, testing institutions, electrical machinery, electrical appliances, shielded motor and other enterprises and institutions. They have high theoretical level and rich practical experience, are familiar with and enthusiastic about standardization work, and can actively participate in the activities organized by the Subcommittee.

 

Wang Liping, Secretary-General of the Subcommittee, made a comprehensive summary of the work of the previous Subcommittee. The Fifth National Rotary Motor Standardization Technical Committee's Statute (Draft) of the Standardization Sub-Technical Committee of Lifting Metallurgy and Shielding Motor and the Working Rules (Draft) of the Secretariat of the Standardization Sub-Technical Committee of Lifting Metallurgy and Shielding Motor were discussed and adopted at the meeting, and the Fifth Working Plan of the Standardization Sub-Technical Committee of Lifting Metallurgy and Shielding Motor was implemented. The report on the revenue and expenditure settlement of the Subcommittee for Bidding in 2018 has been submitted. Secretariat Roger also interpreted in detail the relevant contents of Standardization Professional Committee, Group Standards Policy, Revision Procedure and Application in the form of PPT.

 

At the meeting, Professor Xu Yongming, PhD supervisor of Harbin University of Technology, was invited to explain the development trend and temperature rise calculation of motor for all the delegates. Professor Xu's explanation was simple and in-depth. Combining the industry's advanced technology with his own research results, he gave delegates a wonderful sharing lesson. The delegates benefited a lot and took photos.

 

During the meeting, five industry standards were reviewed under the chairmanship of Secretary-General Wang Liping.

 

1. Technical Conditions for PN Series Reverse Cycle Shielded Motor (with Pump);

 

2. "YZR Series Three-phase Asynchronous Motor with High Voltage Winding Rotor for Lifting and Metallurgy (Seat No. 560-710)";

 

3. Technical Conditions for P Series Shielded Motor (with Pump);

 

4. YEZS Series Three-phase Asynchronous Motor Technical Conditions for Double-Speed Conical Rotor Braking for Lifting;

 

5. Technical Conditions of YZPE Series Three-phase Asynchronous Motor with Frequency Conversion and Speed Regulation for Lifting and Metallurgical Electromagnetic Braking.

 

After careful and meticulous examination of the standard manuscripts submitted for examination by all members, suggestions for revision were put forward. The meeting entrusted the standard drafting working group to revise the five industry standards according to the review opinions, and form a submission for approval, which is reviewed by the Secretariat of the Subcommittee, and submitted to the competent authorities at higher levels for approval.

 

With the concerted efforts of all the delegates, the conference successfully accomplished its scheduled tasks and achieved its expected objectives.
